I wonder if anyone falls for believing reports like the one from "Togalosh" reporting 3-4+ ft in Lincoln...and he posts this report at 10 at night...man he must be having some dreams.

Unfortunately, it takes away from the credibility of ALL reports...except maybe the full page ones that are sponsored, too bad there isn't any for Long Island and all we get is the jokesters reporting "@#$%ing sick" conditions in a day that we all know was flat as a lake...except for a few ripples after the Tstorms.

Yes, please, for the sake of this site and everyone, please do NOT post false reports.

The objective is to get users to contribute to the surf reports, so that it can be helpful for everyone!
We will have to ban users if we suspect issues with false reports.

p.s. would love to get some sponsored long island surf report pages... If anyone knows of any shops or business that might be interested in getting awesome exposure for FREE by posting reports, let me know!

My point exactly...good faith, accurate reporting, loses credibility when others make an inaccurate report. :eek:

Eventually one looks for the reliable reportes...such as yourself :D
