Tropical Depression 9 forms southeast of Bermuda. Its expected to become a Tropical storm in the next 24-36 hours, but do to its northward motion will likely not produce much surf (perhaps a little towards Northern New England,b ut doesn't look like much at this point).
In the past years, we've seen some good October tropical systems, so dont give up hope yet for more hurricane swells :)
