I can't blame you young guys for wanting to smoke some nuggets. I can say that I smoked my fair share of the kine bud. Now I am 37 years old and finally doing something with my life. I ain't here to preach to none of you guys, just to let you know about my reality. I smoked the best and all the rest for 20 years man. It was part of me, my identity. I saw no harm in it and didn't care who knew I smoked. I found out in the long run that it wasn't worth it. Life is better without it. I have been clean from active drug addiction for just over a year now and life is sweeter than it ever could have been while I was numbing my brain. Don't give a rat's ass who don't like this, but I speak the truth. Keep smoking your dope and being cool, it'll catch up with you man. Just trying to spread some truth and help young minds get focused. Surf your ass off, get educated, then you can retire early and surf more. Life is what you make it and if you want to be a doper then go for it. Just don't blame others and society for the life you live.

Noone said there was a comparision. I was speaking for me, not anyone else. But the "occasional toke" can be a hindrance if you let it. Toke on man, It's your choice. As for me I found life to be sweeter without it.Oh, I started as an occasional toker, but I used grugs to escape from mental anguish.Yeah, there is a difference, no doubt, but not for me personally.

Psychmule, there's no need to come here and get religious on people. Thank you for your point of view, but there really are plenty of high (no pun intended) functioning people who smoke, and it's not a hang up for them. It might have been one for you - but it's not like that for everyone.

The other point of view that you're not seeing is that weed is superior for pain control and increasing appetite in people with terminal illnesses.

i have fun surfing either way but being high was the best with small waves they always seemed better, there's plenty of people who are successful in life who smoke and plenty of losers who smoke so it's up to you what you want to be the weed is secondary, i only smoke a few times a year now and really enjoy it couldn't do it every day anymore not for any particular reason well saving money, in reality the smoke may be bad for the lungs after a while reducing paddling ability, make some brownies

Who said anything about religion? I know well that there are major benefits to using marijuana for medicinal purposes. If you need any info pertaining to marijuana i am your resource. I don't give a rat's ass if you smoke it, eat it, or cram it up your rectum. I was only stating fact that over 50% of people who use marijuana abuse it. if you fall outside of that percentile then kudos to you. I am a recovering addict who wasn't that lucky. I am not preaching or getting "religious" with anyone. All I am saying is I can't smoke it because it was a problem for me and has the potential to be a problem for others also. So when you hit the bong, hit it once for me.
