Looks like the Mid Atlantic will see some short lived SE swells com from a low pressure, currently developing north of the Bahamas.
Looks like OBX will see this hit on Friday, while New Jersey will see the best of it on Saturday.
For the Delmarva region, your stuck in the middle. Right now it looks like this may start to hit late Friday afternoon/ early evening, and be mostly gone by Saturday morning. So, I would stay on top of the buoy obs and cams. Swellinfo model showig 2.6ft - 3ft @ 8sec for Ocean City, MD late in the day. Nothing too significant, but should be fun with incoming tide and stiff offshore winds.

Micah-
Per the most recent detailed forecast, the Outer Banks (over the bridge) is going to be knee-waist high tomorrow. The earlier forecast had it at waist-chest and then going to chest-shoulder later in the day. Although it still looks to be offshore and clean, do you think there will still be some fun nuggets to be had?

Surf: Knee to waist high SE wind swell with occasional stomach sets.
I think this call should be pretty good, and should be some fun ones with the offshore winds.
It looks like a little more energy in the afternoon as compared to the morning, so I'd guess it would be best with the afternoon low tide.

With it being such a crappy September, I'm going for it. I'm sure there'll be at least a few good ones and like you said, it'll be offshore. I'll let you know how it goes...Thanks!

The tide was too high for anyplace this morning except for around the Lighthouse and that was a madhouse because of the contest being held there. Around low tide there was a two hour or so window of waist-chest clean surf (not at the Lighthouse) before the north winds got on it. It was a little weak at times but consistent and fun...good call, thanks!
