The end of October and the first half of November have been pretty darn good for the East Coast as a whole.... and looks like another solid South for the end of the work week!

I keep going out, and every time I tell myself that this will be my last ride for the season. I've been saying that for two weeks now!!!! :D I'm not complaining... Go Long Beach!!!!

Long Beach def. got the goods on that last swell. Happen to have any pictures?

Looks like tomorrow morning is going to be good for NY, before the winds shift W. Get on it early!

Down here in the south it's FLAT FLAT FLAT!!! can I say it anymore. I got a new wetsuit and I want to use it. Send some surf down here. It does not even have to be big, as long as it's bigger than 5 inches and ridable, that would be great.

Hannah,

you should see a decent south on Thursday... looks like S winds shifting W, so thats pretty sideshore for the north myrtle beach area... so head to a more east facing beach if you can!

Do you travel at all in your area? For a west wind, I guess you want to drive south towards surfside right? Or better yet, go to Carolina Beach, NC, but I guess thats a bit of a hike?

I've got friends from surfside to carolina beach, so if I need to go to carolina for good surf or go to school on Thursday, I will be in the water Thursday!!!

Keep an eye on updates - the timing for wind shifts has been shifting a bit (as per usual).

Yesterday was going to be the last day i went out for the season, I swore it! Of course, as I'm typing I'm wiping the sand from my brow. I just can't stop surfing. I need help! It's interfering (did I spell that right?) with my work!!!!

Hi my name is Micah. I too am a surfaholic. It is disease, and our support group meets every friday night... :)

When, you miss thanksgiving dinner, because you had to drive 2 hours to score an epic session, you might be a suraholic...

If you blow your girlfriend/wife off, because you have to wake up early for the dawn patrol, then you might be a surfaholic...

if you count your sick days at work, as days to save for epic surf days, then you might be a surfaholic...

if you check swellinfo.com 15 times in an hour to wait for the next forecast update, then you might be surfaholic (but recommended)...

Did I miss any? I can assure you are not the only one controlled by your surfing passion.

If you say you're done for the season, but keep your board in your car... just in case... you might be a surfaholic.

If the smell of surf wax puts a smile on your face, you might be a surfaholic.

If you can't drive by your favorite break on a day that you know there is no swell, but still have to look... and maybe just dip your board in and paddle around acting a fool just because your there, you might be a surfaholic.

If you post to this thread because something popped in your head and we didn't mention it, you might be a surfaholic. :D

Ya brother,

Has your mom ever forgiven you for skipping out on easter that one Jerz trip! I think we did the Garden State tour that day...
