thanks yall! This is the best forcast site I have ever found - puts Surfline to shame. I would gladly report for our island for you. If I am not in the water - I at least look at it daily.
Some days I do feel like the lone surfer here but other days and when the tourist season hits, I have seen as many as 30 - 40 surfers in one of the two major breaks here at Burkes Beach and Jacana Street off North Forest Beach where I go. Most of my friends here are kite boarders.
Today was cloudy, cool, with some good left shoulder high sets. Always with the tidal push of course - which was between 8:30 - 10:30. Water was warmer than the air. Will be out there in the morning at 9:30 for that semi cleaniness! My favorite! There will be ladies surfing out there tomorrow! That is rare for us in the winter! HaHa
