Looks like things are starting out on the small side, but expect the surf gain size through the day.
looks like that W wind shift wont happen until overnight - friday morning should be fun.

Ya i am kind of bummed about that today. Do you think that there will still be a little bit of swell for a Friday evening session? (NJ)

My friend went to AC earlier and said it was about head high and had some fun ones. It was choppy but if you chose the right one, it was good. I'm waiting for a little later and try and catch some big barrels in AC booging.

dudes, this morning was awesome in oc. it was solid waist-chest, and clean. from about 8-10 am. I think the tide push really helped this swell mack up on shore. afternoon was only knee to waist, and it still is, right now. best bet is tonight around 8, before dark, when the tide turns again. should be really fun again.
this morning was super unorganized wave after wave type conditions, but it was clean, rapid fire, steep, and super fun. tonight should be better since its had time to organize a bit.
enjoy!!!

Spring Lake was sooo much fun today. Got in the water around 3 and at like 3:45 or so, the wind started going offshore, with west and southwest winds. By 5, it was like chest to head high, barrelin. Such a fun day, it was much better down south than like Long Branch area i heard
Winds werent supposed to go offshore today, so it was definitely awesome.
Thats the best feeling though, paddling out expecting to ride the big choppy storm surf and seeing the flags go offshore when you're already in the water. STOKED
Should be some fun leftovers tomorrow morning. probably heading out around 5 or 6 am. what time does the sun rise?
