I'm hoping to grab some good ones on Wednesday AM...around low tide. I'm wondering if I should go to LI or NJ.

as of now, its not looking too good for the wed. morning sesh.... As that strong storm looks still to the south.

Looks like strong onshores for the morning, building short period storm surf with a perhaps a late day NW, blustery, cold wind shift. Watch out for a late day clean-up, but expect a nasty day outside with snow/rain, strong winds.

so did you catch the late day offshore shift. It was def. a nasty day out, but I'm sure there were some sick ones to be found.

My window of opportunity to get to the beach was in the AM since is not only Valentine's it's also my GF's bday :eek: ...besides I decided to pop the question today and now she is my fiance

I'm hoping for at least a rideable ripple this weekend ...since I bodyboard I don't need much to have fun :D

Let's hope Poseidon http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q245/IggyP64/Poseidon.jpg has good plans for Long Beach, NY this weekend...or somewhere nearby
