Is there gonna be any surf in Freeport on Thursday afternoon?

Had a number of reports claiming they had waist high sets in Galveston and SurfSide today.

Galveston was prettty big this morning... it was just annoying out there because of how disorganized it was... too bad Ike wasnt as nice as Gustav but oh well, least we got some surf,.:rolleyes:

ya, get on it today and maybe early friday, before it becomes out of control.

It looks like further south, may reap the benefits of the offshore winds to the south of the system - and of course the missing the destruction.

it was already starting to chop to hell when i got out today... im thinking friday morning is going to be really bad surf and so disorganized, plus the wind picking up

Possible triple overhead!!?? There is now way that will stay clean! Gustav was a great time.....this is gunna be nasty! Im sure some crazy dudes will be trying to find a lineup and will get pounded! If anyone does go please get some pics or video of J.P if possible.
