Bodyboards cut me off to much

So i try and stay away from Monmouth Beach / Seabright because i know that its body board "turf". But even in LB and in Deal i still find myself geting cut off. I have had times where i took off on a waves locked eyes with a bodyboarder and still have him drop in on me. And to any bodyboarder i just tell you right now . I WANT TO GAIN AS MUCH SPEED AS POSIBLE TO RAM MY BOARD INTO YOU. Can you guys not turn your head an extra 15 degrees to check both ways before you butcher another wave

If body boarders are cutting you off you're probably a kook. I've found that if you smack the lip directly above them, and then land on them they tend to keep there distance. Usually you only need to do it one time to make your point.

Doesn't matter if you got rid of all the bodyboarder's, or kayaker's, or kneeboarder's, or outrigger's or whatever, some people would find a reason to hate on whoever was in the water, or near them any other time in life. There's alot of pissed off people in this world and that doesn't exclude the surfing community

You know I always shoot off my mouth about how much I hate crowds and others surfing too close to me. I have even made the comment that I would scalp someone if they dropped in on me and not shed a tear. All I can say if I ever did that to another Human being over a friggin wave I would get out of the sport completely. Maybe it's because I am a parent and see my childs face in that poor kid. That is friggin terrible, unless someone is threatening you or your familly doing something like that is a crime. I don't know where everyone is surfing but I have had way more attidude and disrespect from surfers then I have ever had from a body boarder.

I haven't ever landed on a body boarder, but I have landed very damn close to send a message, this is not a common problem as the line up has a way of sorting things out. I regret posting my prior comment though because I do feel that all these crap posts are ruining this site. MY apologies to anyone offended.:)

Ya, I agree. I used to talk on this site alot and haven't said anything for like 3 months because all that everyone does on this site is talk ****. It has completly destroyed the forum part of the site. everyone has to understand that no one means what they say on here. Its all a joke. So on that note, I think that there are alot more surfers out there that are ass holes than there are spongers that are ass holes. I have never met a sponger that isn't willing to talk in the water and let u go on a wave that they are in a better postition to catch. On the other hand I have met probably close to 100 surfers that cut others off all the time just because they all think their the next Kelly Slater. Guess what your not so share some of the waves and stop being a bunch of hard asses.
