On the forecast pages, under the swell timelines, there is the swellinfo wind predictions for every 6 hours. If you go to Weather => Hourly, you can see the Swellinfo 3 hour wind prediction. Right now, the Swellinfo wind prediction for Ocean City, MD shows SSW at 10am, and W at 1pm.

Also, you can compare the winds from the wave maps (GFS odel) to the nearshore winds (NAM model). These can be quite different when you go out 36+hrs, but usually (not always) come into agreement with the short term forecasts.

Ya, I'd say the water temps are about the same as Vday, but air temps will be about 20 degrees warmer.

I want to to know if you guys are surfing in speedos? Its going to be near 60 tommorow! That means 4/3-hood-boot-glove. Stop crying. Its been the warmest winter you could ask for around here. Now its spring. I surfed V-day for 4 hours with no probs. Tommorow, I will surf for 6 hours. Go surf.

I hope this thing cleans up early, I gotta leave for work around 2:30... looks like it'll be cutting it close, and I can't call out because I just started my job. It does seem like it has been unusually warm this winter, and with the air temps that high friday should be really nice, maybe even get to pull that hood back in between sets.

Has anybody surfed northside recently i havent seen any waves there in a while. Maybe some of the waves tomorrow will make it through, we'll have to see. Everybody have fun tomorrow, it's been a long time coming. And who knows, we might have a little left for rest of the weekend :D

Just curious, every time there seems to be a swell theres nothing there. I wasn't planning on going there anyway. I'm Not positive where to go yet, too many decisions. I'll play it by ear

I think OC will be good tomorrow... i mean its a solid overhead swell, stiff offshores in the afternoon, and the low tide will be hitting around 1. Try the inlet i've had a lot of success with that lately. Anyone know anything better?

Almost anywhere in Delmarva could be good on a solid S swell. But, a lot of spots will have to deal with some nasty current in the morning. The current should ease up by the afternoon.
