Think we'll get any nice swells by wednesday (?) from hurricane Paloma?
or will it die out too soon? :(

yeah it looks like the north east might get some significant ground swell from this one. if i were you i would make the 4 hour trip to the beach for this one.

Did you guys ever hear that you don't count your chickens before they hatch? Paloma is far off and the probability is very low at this point to make it anywhere near here. Cross your fingers but don't hold your breath.

have to keep an eye on it. At this point, the NHC is calling for Paloma to fizzle out as it moves over Cuba and into the Bahamas, but it is CAT 4, so there is still a ways to go here.

Currently this large system named Paloma is just north of the Testiculos Islands. If it keeps it's current path, it should ram directly into a series of atolls named the Chocha Ring. While mostly uninhabited, considering this Paloma's size it could leave the Chocha shorn of it's shrubery. Certainly this is a weather event to keep a close eye on, because it should be coming to a climax shortly.
