Please let it be true. A Friday glass off would be excellent. (Although I'm not sure how it's supposed to build from knee to just below chest with a north west wind)

showing an E ground swell from a storm developing over the couple of days in the central atlantic. if you click on the blue view details button (left bottom of surfplots), then you will see the 13-14 second swell. the fetch hasn't developed yet, so keep an eye on the updates.

in general these long period E ground swells are usually inconsistent, but still better than flatness.

That was the first day on my new board... I couldn't duck-dive and I could barely paddle out :eek::p

latest updates, showing a quite long duration of Eastery flow could develop during the week (quite rare)... could see some G swell for a few days... I bet hatty will be the place to be.

Depends on how much south is in the swell. If it's just straight east i doubt it'll be that good.

I'm coming down from southern Delaware..going to spend Thanksgiving with my sister and her husband...Just wandering how the water is feeling--I have a 4.3 with some holes in it, a 5.2, and booties and gloves. What is everyone wearing down there right now??

Surferchick, my brother and I are both in 4/3s and booties in Wilmington. Its cold, but not horrible.

yeah man. i went today and was a good litle longboard wave out. but defiently want booties and gloves. since the water is cold.
