first of all let me say that you are 100% correct surfside. Jim and meg are really talented and I have a real respect for folks that follow their dreams and stay true to their goals. I know they are both dedicated watermen/women and have some world travels under their belt. I have had many conversations with Jimbo and he radiates the true spirit of surfing and the way we should all treat each other. Maybe he could hold classes and mr. CONWAY could attend. Maybe learn to channel that negative enegy into a decent cutback instead of glaring down the beach thinking of everyone he hates. Then hides behind a computer and spits mindless jibberish and insults. Im not from PI A hole Im from Oahu or cant you read. But I love PI and the great people here. I have lived all over the world and YES I am very happy to call PI my home now. Maybe if youd step outside of your little world and learn to appreciate others youd grow up a little faster and make something of yourself. enjoy, I got family that lives on north causeway and we welcome anyone wearin a smile.... low tide dawn patrol in LB, broke groins, then north for the fat tide. That is unless theres no surf and then its all about catchin some dinner and a buzz. we have probably already shared some waves. talk a little story and wave eticate... thats what its all about. if CORNDOG knew anything about reading waves, positioning and had some physical ability then there could be 100 guys next to him and he could still catch all the waves he wanted----he would be a more pleasant and non abrasive individual that could -------just chill. cornway come on down here on a good swell. change your ****ty attitude and i'll even let you have some waves....otherwise ill just be the guy whos outside pickin off all the nugs.......... chin up son you can still go polish the rims on your IROC, spike up the top of your mullet or somethin ????

speakin of Oahu, how bout CEEJ layin the hammer down at Sunset. Insane contest, it was mackin 30 ft 2 days ago, solid 20 maybe 25ft would come through today. Finals were great, Dusty Payne is incredible, 19 year old leading the triple crown.. Kid could walk away with the crown at pipe, in which trials start up Monday. Tune in boys, cause the best show on earth is bout to unravel next week on Oahu. A.I.and Slater should be there for that one.. Sure does help when its flatola on our coast.

30 ft sunset is very heavy. put into perspective. I have stood on beach (AND WATCHED) mackin wiamea. when the wave lip detonates the beach f- in shakes. scaryiest **** this white boy has ever seen. those guys are bionic and have to order an extra plane ticket just so their balls have somewher to sit

Yeah i bet, got a friend who's out there right now for the triple crown. He said that was the largest they have ran the sunset contest in decades. Ya know if sunset is like that, outer reefs at pipe are cracking. Was tuning into v-land the other day for that lull and it was smokin there. Those rights look rippable. Cali and Haw. this time of year are on a diiferent level.. Nice to see a backside win sunset, more or less an east coaster at sunset.

roger that....I lived there 3 years before even considering surfing the north and even then I was out on what they would consider small. a 10 to 15 foot wave face at backdoor or pipe is so unbelievably fast. its like every drop is an air drop. biggest face on north shore for me was at kammie lands and it was around 22' but kammies breaks real slow compared to all the other breaks around it.... and as you know they consider a 20 footer a 10footer. lucky for me i became friend with a well respected samoan family over there cuz kill haole day at my school was brutal. it is a different world over there and super impressive when an east coast boy like hobgood can do so well. hobgoods, lopez all them boys are the shiznit!
