Swell on wed.

Magic seaweed has wed. at 10-13ft. for carolina beach next week with possible offshore winds around 12. Any chance this will hold up?

I don't think CB has ever been 13ft.

looks like some S swell potential. Take a look at the long range Swellinfo wave maps and keep an eye on the update.s

if a S/ SW wind swell cleans up in CB you will lucky to score waist high waves and you'd better hope it coincides with a low tide. The early SE element of the swell will bring bigger waves (stormy and blown) but once the winds clock to the SSW the swell will die. this whole area behaves poorly for SSW wind swells (unless the winds rapidly swing around to the NW). At least it won't be totally flat.

I see some listed for CFL also; anybody know if this is windswell from that cold front that is coming down or is an actual ground?
