YES! especially in areas such as California, during and after a storm are the best times to be in the water.

honestly i love surfing in the rain around here.. usually glasses it off, plus it just feels like im taking nature to the dome.. constantly..

The waves wont ride themselves.
Why do you post such topics? Either you are 10 years old or you have no common sense. The best surf after it rains is inside the inlet. Its best though on west ground swells. Next time it rains you should hit it up!

only one problem profesor chode, west ground swell cant happen. keep it in ur pants, i heard in costa rico after it rains that theres an inlet thats bigger it might be a river to an inlet tho. And im 8 btw

1st off- My buddy scored a 20ft west ground swell in Kansas.
2nd off- the rain has no effect other then on the texture of the water's surface. please refain from such childish thoughts

every time I surfed in the rain it has made it glassy. maybe itis magic rain...:confused:

...AKA the texture of the water's surface
ie. making it from choppy to "smooth" and glassy
It seems that everytime it rains, the winds calm down too (besides hurricanes). That would contribute the the glassy surface
