i have been riding a 7'6" funboard for awhile now and have been considering making the jump to shortboard. i am 6'0" and weigh about 190 lbs. and was wondering what size would be suitable for my size

A 6'6" Channel Island Flyer would be a good transition for you. I have one and it work in just about everything.

umm they dont make a 6'6 flyer do they.

Well I hate to tell you they do because I own one. I wanted a 6'4" but Surfers Supplies in OCNJ only had one left at the time at 6'6" so I bought it. I figured the extra two inches would slide me into waves that much easier. I also (your really not going to like this) have the 2008 CI catalog and with the description for the Flyer it says they build them up to
7'6"!
