Looking at the wave models it seems as if we may get some hurricane swell next week. I know that's a long way away and I've probably jinxed it, but the GFS has been hinting at this for a week and now a few other computer models are starting to to agree.

Born in 1980 and have lived in Wilmington all my life, not that it matters. If the names Felix and Luis don't ring a bell, then you probably will not get the 95 reference, but if you think it improves our chances please delete this post.

The superstition here is pretty rediculous... claiming that someone can affect the weather by posting about a swell predicted by computer models. Next time I'm in china I'll kill a ton of butterflies and it will probably generate a hurricane for you.

just chill out yal, superstition is pretty stupid. I mean if were gonna get waves then we get em but if not then we dont, its pretty straight forward.

Wow...people in this forum are pretty ridiculous!

Uh...yeah. we do surf the East Coast which is already kind of ridiculous most of the time. I find that being ridiculous isnt near as bad as say....being very itchy

careful which butterflies you kill...if they're the orange ones with black stripes, then they can cause global catastrophe. my cousin killed a bunch and katrina happened. if you go there, kill the black ones with orange stripes and we'll all be getting shacked this summer. and if you have the urge to post threads a week in advance about shady swell models, use the words 'might' or 'probably not, but maybe'. if you negate that we will have surf in your post, then we will get surf, unless the negation is negated inherently from the get go. just ask dr phil
