Leash Plugs

How come all surfboards don't have leash plugs that Channel Islands has? Those leash plugs are so wicked! I have a bland plastic one with rust-coloring stained into it.

no, i hate those thing on the cchannel islands plugs. those ring are cheap the paint come off, and my friend tride to put a rope on it and when he pushed it through the other side, the ring popped out with some glass. there pointless. just a waste of money for al merrick. but seriously, who says "whoa awesome leash plug" . but, if you like that kinda stuff then its cool i guess

well you shouldnt think so highly of the ones from channel islands. friend chazs board is 1200 dollar carbon fiber al merrick and just on sunday the entire leash plug was ripped out even though the boards made for like 20 footwaves. the whole board filled with water bc its hollow but channel islands is nice enough to send him another one for free
