In case you didn't read the news, Swellinfo released the Swell Info iPhone app (http://www.swellinfo.com/iphone) this week.

Lots of people, have tuned in to say they would like an app for their blackberry, or other mobile device. So, please take a second, to take the poll above to say what cell phone you use.

Thanks,

So I got the app is is pretty slick. Any chance of upcoming versions including cams or is it a Java issue since iPhones dont support?

I've got a MyTouch running on Android. What phone are you using Swellinfo? Is it a total rewrite to move apps from one platform to another?

ya, it is pretty much a total re-write. iPhone is developed in C+, and Android in Java.

According to our stats, way more people access Swellinfo through the iPhone than any other mobile device. Blackberry being a very distant second, then Android.

Nice app... its actually the first one I've ever paid for!

Just a couple of questions:

What's with the 5 spot limit?
Why ditch the little man surf height indicator on the details page for a wave icon?

Minor things obviously...

ya, we'll have a more mobile friendly - m.swellinfo.com (or something like that) at some point in the near future. By the end of the year for sure.

... another satisfied SwellInfo iphone app user here. I check it every day and prefer it to checking the site from my iphone, which I also have bookmarked on the safari app and use to check out surf reports.
