hey guys im going to the dr on vacation in march, but havent nailed down a destination down there yet. just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions. ive been doing some research and found this

i think the wind tends to be onshore/sideshore there more than offshore. good for windsurfing and kite boarding from what i've read.

for some reason the wannasurf link isnt working for me but Ive been to the DR. I went to the N coast almost near Haiti. The break is the best in the country Im pretty sure, called Encuentro. It is a right break and there is also a left break called destroyer, and a right/ left barrel they call coco pipe which is down the beach a little. Its so much fun and the locals are nice as ****. Ive been to Puerto Rico twice and dont even think it compares to the dominican. It so laid back. But anyway have fun man, it will be a blast.
