Between Dauphin island and Tampa....monday

Where would you go...

I am heading east from Mobile going to Tampa...just happen to have my shortboard and wondering what area will be best...never surfed West coast of Florida before...I was thinking Panama City/Mexico beach area?? Have all day monday to scout..

What a bust...

Mexico beach on monday was flat to flat high with occasional flat...:mad::mad:

Checked San Blas and right at the bend where the rock wall is there was almost a rideable waist high wave every ten minutes...

Oh well...coool area I had never seen before...

surfed complete garbage knee to waist Clearwater beach yesterday though:D
