Hey, I just saw some of your pics and I'm quite impressed! I got into surf photography several years ago and strictly shoot OCMD because it's where I live. I have a question,
1. What set-up do you use for surf photography
The reason I ask is because I want to get better and I know that might involve a serious upgrade in equipment. At the moment I use :
Pentax K100D
Quantaray 70-300mm F4-5.6
I am already looking into upgrading the camera because it's a 6.1MP and the new Pentax is 14.6MP. I know I probably need to get 2.8 lenses, but they're a bit out of my league right now, especially the telephoto.
I have a lot of photos posted on here as well as a Facebook group I started called: Ocean City Maryland Surfing. I'm so mad that I'm missing the latest swells, but I tore my achilles a few weeks ago and can't get out, so keep taking pics and if nothing else, I'll check yours out. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
