Okay so there are two ways to fix this repair.
1. Q-cell: Make sure the foam is COMPLETELY DRY, mix a batch of q-cell and get it thick almost the consistency of toothpaste. Tape a piece of wax paper on the bottom to hold the resin in and barrier the rail as well. Pour the mix in and let cure. Sand the q-cell to match the rest of the board, then laminate 2x 4oz cloth over the repair, hotcoat, sand, and done.
2. Replace w/ foam: this method is the best when you are trying not to add any additional weight. Cut out a square section around the repair, glue in foam with resin, then shape the foam down to match the board, laminate, hotcoat, then sand. Depending on the size of the repair i prefer to use this method when fixing boards.
