It's funny....I've been at places like Sunset, obviously with my jaw in the sand, wondering if I should give it a go, semi sh*tting myself.....then all of a sudden some little hottie, half my size, in a thong, runs past me smiling and hooting like it's Waikiki at 4ft. I get humbled, excited, confused, and depressed all at the same time.
Same thing happens in Austrailia except there's even more numbers....
Love seeing ladies in the lineup, even more when they surf better than me.
Last time at Waikiki, some teenie bopper gave me a ton of crap for taking off on a wave she was going for. I admit I dropped in, but she didn't see the 50 people behind her, I thought it was a party wave. A big Bruddah at the peak was cracking up when i got back out.
