Just traded up from my 84 ext-cab 4x4 Toyota to a 1990 ext-cab 4x4 Toyota 4cyl with 33x12.5 gets 19 around town and 23 hwy with 4:88s. But with the beach just 600 yrds away a tank o gas lasts a couple weeks

1969 international scout 800A manual 3 speed transmission and a V8, can fit a few short boards and 2 people and i have no clue how bad the gas millage is i believe its in the single digits. but its a convertible and drives on the beach amazingly so the gas problem isn't bad.

i am not sure about the newer subarus, but in general, AWD friction deters gas mileage. I know a lot of subarus you see on the road get 27 highway and around 20 city.
