Best Spot in Jersey
This should start a pretty good argument/discussion!
post school graduation i'll more than likely be moving up to jersey from the ocean city, md area. Surfing all jersey for quite a while now ive hit some spots pretty good and some not so good.
My question is..given a choice...whats the best spot for surf in jerz? as far as consistency is my question i suppose.
Hit me up with some advice. Wheres the spot...and lets not be greedy and act all macho and hold back bc its your special spot and dont want it taken over. I dont stand up paddle board and im actually quite non-selfish in the water. lol As i think more people should be.
Lets hope this swell turns out this week

another expose your spot thread --- might be asking for more trouble here...

???
so far no one gives up any info...

lets clarify...im talking like general areas...A.C, O.C, Monmouth Cape May im not like asking for directions to your break...simple geographical areas might be useful.
Goddamn. Its going to happen one way or another. Surf will happen and I will be there...figured some fellow surfers would understand.

i like central jersey surf over south jersey. A little more juice to the north.

Jersey Rocks!
For New Jersey, You need one rule. I can help you with that! South swell, go way north. North swell go south. Ground swell, Micah is right...the juice in central. Generally speeking of, the vague set-up I have described to you will get you the most quality for the swell. I like hi perfomance-rippable short board esque waves, but all of my favorite spots in NJ have loggers and boogers. In my mind I have always found nj richer the nc for waves. There is a lot, a WHOLE LOT of places to surf good and be alone. Yup...alone. So go explore. Nj rocks!

Nj Spots
We have found the best spots via internet and they are listed up the coast from Cape May up to Sandy hook, depends on what you are looking for, some places attract more crowds, or are more "locals" beaches.
Might be a good idea to ask where the worst place is to go on the jersey shore, no one wants to be on a locals beach on "good"day :D
We speak from experience :(
