I am 21 years old german student and addicted to surfing... probably like all you.
Since I love traveling and surfing a lot I had the idea of a surf travel community - meet, surf and stay with local surfers:

I am trying to spread this idea in forums and blogs since there is no budget for that site (> student). I hope this is all right for you.

This is not a bad idea. Similar to couchsurfing.org (ironic name) that my son used when he traveled through Spain 2 years ago. Just got to make sure there's some kind of background check. Not quite sure how they do the background info. on couchsurfing.
