When I was lucky enough to get to go, I'd go 2 weeks after Semana Santa. All the Carajillos would be back in school, and you could make some great deals for cars and lodging.
Perfect time to go!!! Waves are generally great! Let me know if you need guide, boards, rooms or transportation. I have some local friends there who run services.
