i think that's about right for here, too...but i'm getting those numbers from right here on SI. where does SI get them from?Quote:

I think there's a glitch in how the temp is updating. SI uses buoy 41110, which is right off Masonboro Inlet, for our local forecast and whatnot. Fryingpantower.com, the fishing site I frequent is showing it accurately at 53 deg this am.
There was a coding typo, which caused the mix up in the Ocean Temps.
This has been fixed!
