1'foot of snow as well
Dougs got a point, but I'm still excited for this weekend. Supposed to be 4-5 ft. at 13 sec. on sat. in RI.
It certainly looks like things are going to line up as far as swell and wind direction. I'm just hoping the winds aren't going to be as strong as forecasted. i mean 30 mph+ straight offshore on Saturday is no good. It looks like the winds may slow a bit on Sunday, but the temp is forecasted to plummet - hovering right about 0 degrees here in New England. I guess we'll just have to see and possibly put the 5 mil to the test.
100% chance if it goes offshore it will be 30 mph
i advise some of u kiddies to learn how to read a low pressure chart,so u will know when we get good surf and when we dont.i only check the swell forecasts on here just to double check.the closer the bars are(in the circle,lp) the greater the surf will be.the further apart they are the worse it will be.it looks like long island will recieve a nice south swell saturday morning,ma should get it too,and we will have a north swell for us in jersey, aslong as the wind doesnt destroy it.but if we do get a foot of snow,my ride wont make it far.so lets wait and see what mother nature brings us..
p.s if u see bulldozers on your local beach doing beach replinishment, plz give them a peice of your mind.they destroy sandbars.please dont support them!
i dont think the bulldozers are who/what you want to be talking to about the issue
30mph offshore winds gonna be some gnarly blind drop ins praying for zero snow wish I was back home in jerz where I can walk to the playa
There will be a lot of shoveling before there is any surfing..... at least if your're married.
Swell is pulsing here on the Banx already. I watched some bombs breaking off the end of Jpier in Nags Head this am. No snow this weekend just wind and waves...south bound wrap-around for sure!
