The thing that get me, is when there are other "surfers" that dont know the rules of the line up and acuse me of dropping in on them. Im talking about the ones that go for every wave of every set and miss most of them. That happened to me last weekend at IRI . The dude was to my left all day and would always go for te first wave of the set and miss it. I would usually take the second wave and he would still be paddleing from the first wave and catch that on too, running up my tail. That happened a couple times untill he pulled the "thats the last time thats going to happen" act. O well, i just don't thing things would be so bad if the surf shops sold a "line up" rule book.

You dropped in on him. If you don't realize that the inside surfer has priority don't complain about rules. Learn them! And learn how to drop-in "turn and burn!" in an instant if the inside guy bails, eats it, or doesn't get the wave. Always paddle for it. Be assertive and get yourself priority for the set waves. Dont complain on a forum like a Sally.
And you locals out there need to keep order! With no order you'll be surrounded by clueless bic riders and flipper clad spongers thinking they own the place:D:eek:
