this is getting ridiculous,i had to wear booties near the end of june, when will the water get warm??? and im guessing the cold water is form upwelling right?
also one more question, shouldn't warm water come with south winds? and north winds come with cold water? but it doesn't seem to be the case...

we've talked about the cold water upwelling with S winds a lot in this forum. Do a Swellinfo forum search on upwelling and you'll find a bunch of threads.
This morning the water did seem a tad warmer then yesterday, thank god!!!

the water is nice...
water in OC has dropped about 10 degrees in the last few days...down to 62 according to bud with a watch that measures temp. trust me NOBODY was rocking the boardies yesterday morning.Quote:
