A freshman from UNCW died at Wrightsville Beach on the 25th. Campus email said he was with some friends and got caught in a strom, but it said the cause of death is still undetermined. I would hope the lack of common sense didn't lead to any of these deaths. Does anyone know if that father saved his son before sacrificing himself, or did they both not make it?
this kid i went to high school with died two days ago in delaware surfing. Apparently he was struck by lightning.
..the 16 year old made it in, the 52 yr old father didn't. surprised that there weren't more surfers around when it happened. i know it was pretty much dead low and flat monday but even so it seems like there are always people surfing within blocks of the castle.Quote:
