How deep is your quiver?

bonzers can be anything you want them to be...hpsb, egg, longboard, fishy-type, mid-length, etc..."bonzer" is the fin set up combined w/ the bottom contours. personally, i love them! pretty much every board currently in my quiver is based around the bonzer concept. brian wynn is a great bonzer shaper, learned directly from the inventors, malcolm & duncan campbell, while he was in california. i find them to be faster, better barrel boards, & just overall more suited to my style of surfing. in steep, fast breaking waves, i find that i'm able to project around sections better on a bonzer than on a thruster. bonzers also can get higher & tighter in the pocket w/out sliding than a thruster. i have a few thrusters, but they all feature the deep bonzer-like bottom contour. the only board that's not really bonzer centric is my log.

ps-props to the guy who bumped this thread back to the land of the living! i enjoy a good quiver discussion/oogle-fest! i'm waiting on a couple boards, then i'll post up a complete quiver shot...likely sometime in the spring!

I'm bigger and older than average:

6'2 twin glassed on wood keel true retro fish for smaller/weaker days
6'4 battail quad "groveler" for punchy surf under head high
6'6 PSB round tail thruster/quad convertible for chest to head high and up - go to shortie for good waves
7'0 East Coast "gun" rounded pin thruster for the biggest days of the year
9'3 classic single fin log for waist high and under

4boards but when summer comes i wanna get a 5'11 or 5'10 board. im looking at a used board in brave new world used with little dings $200, its a 5'11 superbrand

9.6 webber performer - perfect noserider
7.6 g&s egg - fun all around board and perfect for teaching the kids to surf
6.10 ci single fin - green resin tint, have ridden this in ankle to overhead
6.8 dusty rhodes love - monster tail thickness, old nj board, huge skeg and easy to carve or cheat up to the nose
6.6 cambell bros egg - great all around board, fun in summer if you dont want to longboard
6.3 webber afterburner - step up for fall
6.0 firewire dominator - go to short board for waist to head

i'm currently into bonzers so i think a 6.0 bonzer or something alternative like a sweet potato is in the not to distant future....

Surprised LB's dominate your Quiver :) Shorty's are a thing of the past for me but not by choice :(

$ board quiver usually last awhile cause they all get ridden. Just sold all 4 boards form the old quiver last summer, so far replced with two new last fall and the third is on order as of end of January and 4th will be ordered start of summer for hurricane season

5'-5" x 19-1/4 x 2-3/8 Tommy Moore "Round Nose fish" (f-fin convertible set up) no bump wings
5'-9" x 19 1/4" x 2 1/4" Tommy Moore "Tweaker" w/diamond tail (dumpster diver/ white diamond style single concave bottom 80's shortboard outline

On Order-
5'-6" x 21 x 2-5/8 at center tapering to 2 1/4" rails Tommy Moore "Slop Rod" (this is my longboard alternative stick for thigh high and under summer slop. simialr to a lost plank but with bump wings right behind the front of the quad fin set up and a big squash tail to maintain drive.

Next order-
6'-1" x 18 1/2 x 2 3/8 thru chest with medium high perfoamrce rails- Tommy Moore
Wide point up further for paddling but with high performace rocker this is hte head high plus stick.

got two now, 6'2 fish, and a 7'2 fun shape. hoping to get a dumpster diver soon
