Yeah, I dealt with this same thing on the north shore. It ended up being cheaper to buy a board when I got there and then just sell it for whatever I could get when I left.

Can't wait to bust a sick 360 air with my Chanel board. When you see CC coming at you, you'd better watch out!

Man, I just moved to NC from OC but I would drive back just to watch everyone beat this guy down. Everyone have fun this weekend, long awaited swell, finally some size to play with.
We stayed at Rodanthe Watersports one time and it was weird. We got there really late, like 1am and there was nobody there to pay but there were other campers, so we set up our tent, then in the...
Speaking of fish and such in the lineup, one time I was (ashamedly) surfing north side IRI on a good day and I was the furthest person north. The water, about the size of a football field was...
I couldn't tell you exactly why, but to me it seems that every In The Eye board that me or my friends have had have snapped after very little use. Maybe it's all been bad luck, but it's like 5 of...
On the north shore a couple years ago while we were out there pipe was 40'+, needless to say we went down south some more to double overhead waves b/c the north shore was just too gnarly. 2 days...
I'm sticking with Joaquin.
Joaquin! Haha, can you imagine if this was a really bad hurricane that they talk about for decades. The news lady saying, "And we haven't seen anything this severe since Joaquin."
Haha, if you talk to the guy he's got some stories for sure. I like the one where he says he surfed a tsunami wave!!! But that's just the first of many crazy stories he's got and definitely not the...
With the massive summer swells they should all be sweet.
I've got a 53" wavezone skimboard up for sale, it has one ding which I can fix or you can fix it, it was dinged while in my shed this winter so it hasn't been in the water since the ding. I'm asking...
If you can even ride an alaia then you are far from a kook.
I'd think $500 if it doesn't have anything wrong with it.
The real cooks don't come out for about another month. I think there were about 15 people in the water at most.
Have to say, I stay away from north side as much as possible but yesterday it was on, rare occasion, but it blew OC conditions away.
This is a good article on the subject. http://www.eoearth.org/article/Ocean_Dumping_Act,_United_States
From what I can gather, you are allowed to dump things such as dredge materials and...
