get the book Surfing California by Bank Wright. surf the right spot on the right day and surf all over. and, regarding 2 ft waves in cali, you're gonna get them all to yourself.

some places can handle a crowd better than others- multiple take off spots, less critical sections, etc. pipeline is super critical and isn't very spread out.

I don't know if swimming and boogy boarding are even allowed at surf rider. imagine a 40 pound single fin longboard going 20 mph down the line running you over. I think the la co lifeguards...

make a new hand plane out of an old skateboard. 1 skate will make 2 planes.
