Wetsuits were less than $100 when I started. Now they're over $450. Worth the info and the input. But I'm from the school you can learn something new aboot every day.
I would start here: http://www.sinkthestink.com/index.html
Then after that wash with a cap full of baby shampoo.
Biggest worry I would have is the hood. Too close for comfort.
New suits...
Very cool. Thanks for this. When I have moments like this with my kids the kudos go to my Dad for putting me on the planet. (and a little help from my wife, and well, I guess I was involved too, at...
Fresh water is an absolute to lengthen the life of a your suit. BUT cool fresh water not hot. If it's too hot you could weaken the glued areas.
velcro is better than wax.
It was if you're only 5 feet tall.
I'm no expert either, but there are more G&S boards on the west coast. This could add value here in the east.
But $250 or maybe more would be my guess. Not clear if it is water tight. And...
Nice pic! GoPro for Father's day? I'm hopeful.
If I get a one, that's what I would do with it, not those cheesy movies where all the waves look knee high - EXCEPT Ryan, his are pretty dang good.
Why not do a website gallery instead of a print mag?
To do justice to the shots, you're going to need a high line screen and at least a number 2 grade paper stock. ESM is great, but it's still...
drop in on 23 footers, benching 20 foot bull sharks over our heads - which qualifies as a tandem event.
For smaller days, it will be fine. Plus it will be great for the nose riding. Maybe he will let you try it first?
I prefer a 9.0 performance LB so I can still enjoy it when I want to on larger...
+1 for K'auai.
And don't the Bear get you down. If you go in knowing it's not all Barbie and Ken BS, and realize that some days you're going to have to dig real deep to get thru it, and some days...
In 30 years, the only time I had a skim boarder any where near me surfing is when you enter the water, or when getting out...
AWESOME - Same thing happened with my daughter this April in Jupiter. Suddenly she swam out to where I was picking off some fun 2 footers.
As I pushed her into the 1st wave, I was able to hold the...
depends on the size of the area and how deep it sunk... sunk where glass cracked? taking water? or delam? post pix.
Dryer sheets - bounce - just drop one in each boot as they are drying.
This is what you need.

Like the view backside better, but much more capable frontside. Always working on it...
+1 Fitz - hurricane smuricanes - we share those swells, or better yet, follow them. Start in FL end in NJ and beyond. That's what AI (RIP) did for hurricane Bill. And storms off NC coast, NJ benefits...
score more with this site than without - all tho joemac used to rock because it was eyes on reports...
I've done this and it works pretty well. Easier than cutting the whole piece out. Depends on how much you love this board. If it's your "go to" than cut it all out and re-glass. If you don't do...
After buying RC suits - and gloves/boots for over 25 years, I can say the suits still rock, and the OLD boots / gloves did rock. But the Newer ones just don't hold up. So I switch to Oneills - crap....
+1 Exactly!
Hood attached. 5/4/3. Way more flexible and comfortable. When I tuck the hood into the 4/3 can't turn my head the same.
Then your 4/3 can get you thru the rest of the year.
