i can go switch decently on a longboard, on a shorter board though its like forget it
at manasquan inlet. was surfing a left towards first peak to where it bowls up on the inside. went up for a turn right at the bowl and was a little late. all momentum going up and lip coming down...

depends on the equipment you have to work with. Manasquan or around Asbury Park probably best from land and anywhere from the water
the best time is winter, but time your visit with a swell or you will still most likely get skunked

lido key at the beach pavilion is usually fun, twin piers in bradenton is fun but gets crowded
for organizations i know nssa has high school team contests in the NE, as for naming club perhaps call it "Surfrider" or something along said lines where u help out at local surfrider foundation...
this is at Lido Key, near Sarasota. I don't really know the surrounding area that well so I'm not sure if its close or not.. but yea bring a board down, it gets fun down here
