Also, UnseenX, if you don't ride single fins or longboards, I can see how the selection would seem solid, but in reality they're missing all the essential fins that a single fin head would...

Not trying to be uber-negative here because the idea is cool, but if you primarily ride single fins or longboards the selection isn't very impressive at all. None of the classic stuff, no Greenough...
San Onofre has some of the best longboard waves around -- about 45-50 minutes from Anaheim.
I rode an Anderson Farberow for about a year a while back. Bit more of a noseriding-centric design than what I was looking for so I sold it back to the guy I bought it from, but the craftsmanship was...
I've seen the pig in person and it's beautiful -- worth well over $500.

You linked to the edit page of your posting. This is the link to the actual CL post:
I've slept in my station wagon on a couple of occasions recently near Assateague and one time in Cape May, NJ. Be smart about it and as inconspicuous as possible and you'll be fine. High season might...

I'm selling a 5/4 Flash Bomb that I snagged from a Rip Curl rep a while back. It's a mens large, 2012 model. These suits retail for over $400. I'm a size M, and I already have an e-bomb that I really...

Surfed County Line, Trestles, San O, Sunset, Doheny, and Manhattan during college.
"It's true for you I'd move to Ecuador..."
Surfed in NJ Friday evening past sunset and Saturday dawn patrol in my 3/2 with no boots and I wasn't cold, either.
I hear being a douche on internet forums is pretty trendy, too. You must be a really nice, nay, swell, person.
FYI, I don't work at a cubical or ride a BIC. Oh, and the old wetsuit was mine and...
I've said it here before and I'll say it again: Literally every single person on this forum is an amateur surfer.
Yeah, not wanting your board to ding makes you a kook! Dinged boards are way cooler!
In fact, I am against all forms of bags, containers, and carrying devices. Here are a few examples:
^^^Both of these guys definitely make beautiful boards.
I'd go 2+1. IMHO if you're "really looking for the longboard feel" a single fin is the ticket, but you can give yourself the versatility of a 2+1.

Ha! Haven't seen that one! Sounds crappy to me, too.
But I don't think one segment in one film takes away from Knost's surfing in general or turns every other film that he's in into crap. Nor do I...

I agree with you that a person isn't "wrong" if they dislike something that's liked by an art critic. However, I didn't mention art critics in my post and I stand by my opinion that "artsy fartsy" is...

I agree with you that it's annoying when they edit a wave down to just one portion of it. I also agree that the tracking of the swell/getting to the break portion of films can be pretty well-done in...

Here's a new short from Aussie Nathan Oldfield for the Critical Slide Society/Thomas Surfboards. He's really stepping it up a notch with his edits these days!
I definitely agree; a wave hog is a wave hog. It just seems like a majority of people on this forum are ready to call a longboarder or SUPer a wave hog, but are offended if anyone dares to mention...
Regardless of equipment, I personally don't believe that anyone should take more than his/her share of the waves on any given day. However, there have been plenty of threads here where people argue...
It's narrow-minded and short-sighted in general to discount someone's viewpoint or contributions to a conversation based on any reason, be it age, religious/political affiliation, anything!...
Discounting someone's opinion or ideas because of youth is a major misstep, in my (and Bob Dylan's) opinion...:)
