Right on brah!
Thanks LBCrew!
So I've been hearing this, but no idea as to why. So, why exactly does longer period swell (say >14s) tend to closeout beach breaks? Thanks!
Basically whatever few tracks I'm lovin' at the time. Although,
Red Morning Light by Kings of Leon
is my go to Dawn Patrol anthem.
Hahahaahah, Guilty.
Jeeze!! That's crazy. I got freaked out for a few minutes ago a couple weeks ago when some bigger fish decided to smack into my foot.
Yeah this morning was pretty sweet, 3-5+, some barreling sets coming through - too often were just closeouts here. Not as consistent as I expected. But I'm excited for this afternoon/evening session...
Hopefully Florence will track into the mid atlantic and give us some waves late this weekend!
Depends on the weather. If it's cloudy, I won't put it on. But on a sunny day - I reapply probably every hour and a half or so. I have no reason not to, it takes a few minutes.
And it's kind of...
Hoping for the same here for the NY region!! At least got my fill Wed evening, was great out there!
Perfectly said, Swellinfo!
It's as simple as "If you don't like it, don't use it".
Sucks to suck.
Yeah, my best day of the year so far!! Surfed from 6-9. Probably 3-4ft, occ.+. Forecast was calling for ankle biters...
Just shows you how much you should also rely on a cam.
Here's a clipout from the SurfScience website:
Mountain biking trails or road biking with my all-mountain/DH bike (it's quite a workout...)
Reading books.
Watch surf movies...maybe an occasional non-surf movie.
BBQ'ing, definitely....
To my friends Chris (USMC), serving for the past couple years in Afghanistan, and Anthony, who just completed boot camp, OOhhrahh!!
Happy 4th everybody!!
Now, only if we had some waves...
Well said.
And as far as the,
goes, that's completely irrelevant. I'm not saying it's false, because it's undoubtedly true at my local big beach (Smiths Point). It's funny this was mentioned...
It really depends where you are, and the environment you're surfing in. I live in a somewhat, as many would say (not that I like to use the word) 'ghetto' beach town area. It also depends on the kind...
Always stuck with sticky bumps, for both my boards and bodyboard. I can't get enough of that smell! But I've never tried Zoggs, always tried to stay away from what I thought was hyped - mostly for...
When I'm not upstate at school during the summer, it's a 5 minute commute by car to Smiths Point. Can't really ask for anything better than that. And I usually get in 4-5 sessions a week, depending...
Apparently it is/was between Lido West and Lido Town Beach according to the WannaSurf page. But I've honestly never really frequented the west LI beacher, I'ma mid/east ender.
