I've heard people talk about surfing the lee side of piers in a sideshore wind. I don't see how that would help much at all???
What happened to them? Are they down or can I just not see them?
I just moved up to Va beach last august from wilmy. It's pretty much the same waves wise, when a nor'easter comes through it can get pretty big. The crowds are worse than WB so be ready for that. 1st...
The inside of masonboro inlet has a pretty nice break, never crowded either/
haha, exactly
Geezus cripes, I am so glad we don't have these idiots in VA and NC. I really feel for you guys.
can you really consider someone from jersey a redneck???? you guys need to come to CB in southern NC
I dunno about va beach, but down south when the water starts to warm up sea lice can cause that. They SUCK, I had it happen to me once, get red bumps all over your stomach and they itch like sin....
Do you guys ever have clean surf in Va Beach? seriously...no really

Man, I just moved from Wilmington, and I loved it there, sure the waves aren't that great at WB and CB, nothing as consistent as what you would be used to. But there are waves, and wilmington and...

I'm thinking about camping there too, I'm trying to get down there before it gets too far into summer and the mosquitoes get in there.
nice, thanks man. On the parks website it says they have primitive campsites that you can hike into for 11 bucks a night. I'm def gonna check it out.
New to the area, thinking about hiking and doing the primitive camping down there, anyone ever been, and any surf at all?
Hey what's up with the hiking trail i can see on google earth on the south end of Sandbridge?
how fun is that Sashimi, that looks like a sick little board
Thanks fellas, I'm not trying to be all "yo I'm new tell where the best spots are bra" sorry if it came off that way, I just figured sandbridge was no big secret and wondered if it got super crowded...
yeah you're right about the water temp and the tourist. I was at TI this past weekend in Nc and was loving the 65 degree water with 80 degree air temp, then back up here with 50 degree water, guess...
