im not a very good surfer but i have always been good at duck-diving. i learned on a big ass epoxy BIC funboard when i was younger, so everything since has been slowly getting easier to get under...

i mainly surf a 5'8 WRV twin fish, basically a RNF copy, maybe a little less foam in the nose. great for 70-80% of the east coast waves, but i have a hard time when it gets steeper and more critical....

BTW the 5'8 WRV fish i have IS a twin-fin. like what the guy sad about single fins they might be harder to get the hang of at first, but you have to learn to surf in fluid, fast lines using a board...

the south surfing beaches have seemed to fare better on an incoming low tide. north surfing beaches are pretty much worthless though.
