i have the oneill pyrotech 5.5/4 as well and its pretty dam warm, flexible as alll hell too!

just got the new oneill pyrotech 5.5-4 with the "technobutter neoprene". suit is extremly warm and light as a feather. dries quick to. get one!!!
i do the same thing with the soap in the shower, little drop of soap, fill the boot with water and let sit for 15min keeps the odor down substantially.
i have a 10' Modern Retro. Im 23 i ride it in anything less then shoulder high and love ittt.
They make a pack of stick on mounts, you can put it anywhere you want on your board and if you don't like it you can always pull it off and throw it away. Give it a try and worst comes to worst there...

depends on the weather outside. Was out last week early AM session with a honkin NE, 4/3 did the trick with boots. Wish i just had some kind of head protection for that stiff breeze
