This isn't a great photo, but I've never seen bioluminesence this bright.

I shoot both RAW and jpg. Mostly jpgs now though, cause I hate booting into Windows. Shooting auto-white balance in jpg's make a big difference. In RAW not so much, but it's definitely noticeable....
Well, you can always use the auto-presets, which definitely are better than leaving it on auto all the time, but once you get the hang of it, use the custom white balance.
This is the worst photo of the bunch. It doesn't really grab my attention. The horizon is off, and the sky is blown out. Could use some proper framing/cropping. My advice, turn off the auto white...

Check your PS3 too, sounds like something was grinding against the disk
Just remember, plasma burns out much faster than an LCD, but LCD has issues with individual pixels dying, rather than the entire screen
This is why I just don't buy nice things :P
Sucks dude, I hope you get that back. You're pretty relaxed about it, but I guess there is nothing you could do. I'd be pretty ticked.
On a side note, if someone paintballed my car I'd find out...
Refresh rate makes a world of difference for sports. Watching hockey on a 60hz compared to a 120hz is really noticeable. I can see the puck jumping around on the 60hz. For price though, if its too...

Like Lee said, your GPA isn't as big of a factor as you would think. Granted it depends on your degree. But if you're in a technical major, an internship at a company doing real work will balance out...

From all the IT majors I know. 90% of them were CS majors freshman year who failed intro to programming. I'm not gonna say none of them know anything... but I just think that's kinda funny.
Yeah. Epic has their own home grown DB... which sucks cause they said the majority of what I'd be doing is converting from their own DB language to SQL and the likes. But I have no intentions of...
IT and CS are completely different. Any person who can hook up wires can do IT. Programming actually requires intelligence. I have an interview with UnitedHealth tomorrow. Had an interview with Epic...

Skip ones that write directly to DVD. Get one with a HDD/Flash memory so its already digital. Pick up something with HD so it's a little more future proof.
