'08 subaru outback. it's the best. i can fit several shorties in the back, roof rack for anything bigger. solid gas mileage, average around 25-30 but with coaxing i can keep it over 30. Plus, it's...
Yeah, definitely working on getting some photos up.. as soon as i start producing boards, they will be there. I do have another company i've worked with where i'm from in Virginia Beach, you can see...
Yep, I love it!
Haha i'll keep that in mind! I've always like having someone else do the glassing, but i think to keep it simple at first we'll be doing it.
Thanks! It's a Virginia code.. I just go to school here, i've done most of my shaping work up in VB where i'm from. That's a good call though, thanks!
Hey everybody,
I've been shaping boards for a few years and i've just opened a small company in Wilmington, Pilot Surfboards, so if you're interested in a board hit me up. Between me and my...
Psh of course i do, any surfer or sponger who surfs year round and has worn a suit for a cold session is not only silly for not draining the lizard mid-surf but missing out on an awesome source of...
Thanks for saying so man, and yeah i did 2 boards with Ron Mellot at first, but boards 3-19 were pretty much just me so it was alot of trial and error, but i think now that i'm working with Ed Townes...
Hey guys, i'm the guy behind the Sovereign label you may have been reading about and I figured i'd just throw out there my perspective on the whole deal. i'm definitely an amateur shaper, i've only...
cool man, what sorta thickness and width on that thing? does the crack go all the way through the board/stringer? how much u want for it.
Hey ya'll i know its that time of year to start clearing out those quivers and gettin ready for summer.. just a heads up that i'm looking for old, ratty boards that are way beyond easy repairs and...
Yo, i find that if you put twists in the straps this eliminates the noise they make (which i'm pretty sure is from them vibrating when they are too tight. like a guitar string or something)
i never knew they came this far south, but in the obx last year i saw 2 of them the day after thanksgiving it was very stragne
like the sound of that! i'll totally trade crowds for brain-freezes after every duckdive.
(of course, in the middle of the summer, that'll probably switch)
definitely some sick shots
if you really don't want em i'll take em and re-shape them, i'm always looking for cheap old boards to recycle.. i'd even pay you a little bit to take em off your hands
new longboard skateboard, new watch (Ripcurl Tidemaster 2-- :D) a few flannels... you know it
Changing fin type/size/placement will definitely have an effect, but that sort of tail design
(and the idea behind a quad) is designed to give a looser, skatier feel as opposed to giving you drive...
yeah every time i think it gets cold paddling out here i just watch this:

this made me laugh
yeah, 1 friend is always good to have with you. someone to talk to at least. but if you're gonna charge it alone DEFINITLY just tell someone where you are and tell them you'll call when you get out...
hey everybody,
just came across Clay Marzo's movie, Just Add Water, on hulu.com where you can watch it for free. it won't be up there forever and its a great movie so check it out while it's here:...
i would always go with a nice, fresh new suit. its worth the investment. the idea of a used suit is kinda gnarly i don't care how clean it smells or how little they used it. Can't go wrong with...
yeah dude that thing looks super rough man, i'd be really surprised you got $120 for that. if that's decent condition i'd hate to know what bad condition is. try having it fixed up before you sell...
