Yeah I had it out in jan it wasn't 5 4 3 warm but with a hood, good glove, and boots you are fine. Just depends what you are used to. On the real cold days you could always throw a 1mil under it.

The kneepadding is pretty good. Its a piece of rubber which is not very thick but definitely grippy. I washed it with Oneill wetsuit cleaner and conditioner so it is fresh and clean!

Yeah I have a 6'3" and a 6'6" al merrick tuff lite. Definitely worth the money they are super strong and fast. Great on turns.

Funny thing is when I was in High School all I had was an old hooded 4/3 and that was fine. Now that I've used a 5/4/3 I've become spoiled. I'm in monmouth county NJ too. It gets chilly here.
