On the east coast in nj I bodyboard at every spot and peak a lot of times being the only bodyboarders around. Some people are d!cks but I could care less. I am a local here and a lot more local...
Should I take up surfing then if I plan on spending 4 years there and want to ride waves regularly?
UCSD is the school and are people really that angry in California?
Im visiting San Diego for a few days in the end of June for orientation and was wondering what kind of gear ill need to bodyboard then. Also any help with where i should look for some slabs would be...
No bayhead is aweful. You have a better chance at squan i'd say.
Squan sucks, the waves suck, and most of the people are ****s
I almost forgot too that whenever i have a sesh in belmar i'll have to write in my liquid gold ink and mark that day as a day of remembrance each year.
I actually can't wait to start a surf log and for me it'll include whether I stood up or sponged.
What an awesome way to keep the stoke going.
Put your suit on at home
Put on towel on your seat
Rash guard or under armor under the suit actually helps
Vaseline your face if that doesn't bother you
I'll be going in those conditions who knows when there will be waves again suck it up and get some waves
Don't think about it too much beforehand cuz I know when I get one wave it's worth it
Anyone want to tell the story from the beginning?
I heard the cereal bowls were pretty fun actually. If anyone wants to go there lemme know, i love sharing
Its almost a new moon so that should provide plenty of light for the drainers south of belmar
Anyone going to try and surf in the dark sunday night/monday morning?
