I just used the fins that came with it I had the glass flex AM2, I think 5's as a thruster and they were fine. I really should get some better fins maybe performance cores, might be on my Christmas...

My beach wagon, had to give up my 4runner to my son in college in the snow belt, but this does fine. Fits my 5'10" twinny to my 8' longish board.

I just bought a used motivator on Craigslist. 6'0" x 21 x 2 5/8. Only rode it a small day once as a quad and it will catch anything and still go vertical. Can't wait until I shed the 5 mil and ride...
I'm 60, been surfing 50 years mostly local but lived so-cal for a few years.
Just picked up a 6' Lost Motivator 5 fin set-up for a new groveler on my bday this month!

Just picked up a used Lost motivator and was considering trying a small trailer fin with the quad set-up. Anyone out there tried a trailer or nubster fin with the quad set-up?
Second Beach will be blown out this weekend Gansett side looks like it will be happening. So many nooks and crannies from the town beach to the point and around the other side.
