Yeah, cape surf is the Local's version of "Ron Jon's" for cocoa beachers. They have a great staff and they're not going to rip you off like Ron Jon's. Ocean Sports world, and quiet flight are good...

Everyone has been pretty much spot on with their responses. I am about 5' 8" and 145lbs and I ride a 6'1" Swallow Tail, and you can rip on that if the surf is right. I also ride my friends 5' 10"...
I got out on Thursday morning, It was intense. Pouring rain in cocoa beach, pretty big swell
It was curling outside, which i have never seen before. Pretty clean waves though, totally worth...
I would reccomend the big ones. Cocoa Beach Surf Co/Ron Jon's. They have a pretty good going rate, and they have a pretty wide selection of boards. If you will be further south than that, you can go...
It's gonna be sweet, Friday and Saturday...
might be a bit nippy because i think it's due to get cold soon, but that's nothing a spring suit can't fix!
Bloc Party is definatly a good choice
but i think it depends on the type of surf. Big surf requries louder, heavier music (system of a down, 3 days grace, rob zombie.) Average surf and clean...
if you're longboarding, beach boys get you in the zone...
bob marley too
It's not as good as you think i'd be. Don't get me wrong, i mean the swell is huge. I saw the biggest wave of my life (im' not gonna lie, probably like 15ft+ no joke. But if you don't have...
I'm not sure what that means
Is that when the tide comes up really high, and almost gets over the dunes?
Cause i surfed during that once, and it was sweet, the waves were breaking far outside....
Coco, quit posting such stupid ****. The girl asked you a question retard, you probably suck at surfing anyways, so you don't have any good ad
I think that you should learn (in small surf mind...
Hey "coco", how about you post something useful?
I've seen a few sharks in cocoa beach, but they just mingled and went away
Be sure not to get; tarpon, dolphins, manatee's, other fish, confused for sharks. It will make for an unnecessary panic. ...
i haven't surfed ft. lauderdale in soo long, but if i rememberd correctly the southern beaches got packed with tourists (no surfers)
so if you go north a little the beach's will become less packed...
Well when it was flat for the easter surfing competition, they still tried to surf whatever they could get. Surfers came all the way from Brazil to surf small shore pound, but alot of sponsorships...
The predictions are always sooo ridiculous, just because in 2004 we had a rough season. There will probably be about 2 more named storms, and one that comes close to Florida. Thats about the average...
Anyone have any good stories for the this past week?
Or any pics
I am getting pictures of me and friends surfing some shoulder-head high waves, but they haven't gotten developed yet (yes....i...

Yeah, but i was talking about somewhere that was a reasonable distance for someone to travel who lives in the cocoa beach area
I don't think i'd drive to St. Augustine to catch a small point...
I just got back at 7:30 from surfing all day in cocoa beach!
At 6 A.M-10 it was really poor, all wind chop
At 10-3ish it cleaned up a bit
At 4-7 it was really really big and pretty clean at...
Yeah, i know what you're sayin
But with the chop, it's usually a real pain to get out
(if you are riding like a fish, fun shape, long board, or anything with a thick nose)
if you can't...
It's a shame that it's going to be really choppy
if surfing doesn't work out
geet an inflatable tube, and enjoy
Well the waves are more consistentt during the winter
But the summer has the occasional hurricane swell (like on monday)
and that is really good to surf
If you're gonna surf winter, i...
The Day School goes back the surf at "cocoa beach" is supposed to be stomach high!

I would Say sebastion (exuse spelling) it is consistent and not as mushy as say Cocoa Beach. however alot of people surf there, so you better be good at people dodging...
And someone said that...
I Suggest that you find a non-crowded beach down there (as hard as that may be) and perhaps find a friend/local, that can give you some tips.
I would also suggest that you get like a 9ft either...
